As long as you make an identity for yourself out of pain, you cannot be free of it.
Erckhart Tolle
It’s funny how life seems to go really smoothly for some people, but not others. To those people, school or work, relationships and friendships seem to make sense and good things seem to come easily. Some people just seem to know what they want to do next, but for others this feels really tough and it’s easy to start feeling left behind.
I CAN HELP YOU REALISE THAT YOU ARE ALREADY OKAY. EVEN IF YOU DON’T FEEL IT, YOU ARE.
My vision:
To help erase the bottom third of younger people from the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) waiting list, by guiding them to the innate self-confidence and self-worth which already resides within them.
Alongside my private coaching sessions with adults, parents and with younger people, I also support parents and carers in small group work. I have worked with Young Devon, a local charity, for eight years supporting younger people who have been victims of a crime, with all the emotions that show up as a result.

My career experience includes being the Pastoral Lead for three further education colleges. I have led and managed teams of senior tutors, safeguarding leads and progress teams to ensure a consistent level of high-quality student support. I have also been linked to the University of Exeter College of Medicine & Health supporting students studying post- and undergraduate programmes.

I share an understanding in my coaching, guiding my clients to a space of seeing who they really are. The principles behind this understanding are a description of the human experience; not a prescription of strategies and tools to ‘fix’ them. When we can step back and see our world differently, we become open to who we truly are; we can see for ourselves the confusion, assumptions and emotions that feel like a trap. This points us in a direction that sets us free from expectation, judgements and worries that we are not enough. We can utilise our unknown and untapped potential.
Marie is a certificated Clarity® Coach, sharing the principles behind clarity and making a real difference in every client’s life.
